This labor and delivery (L&D) nursing assignment places you right in the heart of a bustling hospital where high-risk pregnancies and routine deliveries happen daily. You'll provide essential care during 12-hour daytime shifts, assisting with labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a setting that values teamwork and efficiency. The role involves supporting OB emergency responses, managing antepartum patients, and working closely with neonatologists and hospitalists who are available around the clock. Your experience with obstetric emergencies, adherence to AWHONN ratios, and familiarity with Meditech EMR will help you thrive in this busy, baby-friendly environment.
