Job Description:

This ICU travel RN position offers a chance to work in a busy private ICU and PCU setting with the same floor, where you will be responsible for managing a mix of critically ill patients with diagnoses such as COVID, sepsis, CVA, and respiratory emergencies. Expect to handle ventilators, arterial lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, wound care, and medication drips like insulin and dopamine. The role involves caring for 15-18 patients, with at least two ICU RNs on each shift, providing a hands-on opportunity to utilize your expertise with advanced medical equipment and complex patient needs. Experience with vent management, arrhythmia identification, and titrating drips is essential. You'll work 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week assignment, with scheduled weekend and holiday shifts. The unit is well-supported by house supervisors, hospitalists, and tele techs, ensuring you have the resources needed to deliver quality care while maintaining a professional yet engaging environment.
