Job Description:

Join our fast-paced ED team in Prescott Valley for a 13-week contract that puts your emergency care skills to the test. In this role, you'll be working alongside experienced physicians and mid-level providers in a Level 4 trauma center that handles around 80-110 patients daily. Your day will include managing a variety of urgent cases such as chest pain, abdominal issues, minor traumas, and respiratory distress, often in a bustling environment with flexible nurse-to-patient ratios. You'll utilize your critical thinking to support conscious sedation, monitor patient status through advanced telemetry, and assist with a wide range of procedures, all while navigating a well-equipped trauma and triage area. The unique setting features a mix of separate ER holds, psych/seclusion rooms, and an intake model for lower acuity patients allowing for adaptable care. Expect to coordinate with dedicated ED techs, paramedics, and RTs, with opportunities to perform routine troubleshooting on ventilators and monitors, embracing a team-oriented approach to emergency healthcare.
