Job Description:
This travel nursing assignment places you in a busy oncology unit, focusing on patients with various solid tumor cancers including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers. Working 12-hour night shifts, you will be responsible for telemetry interpretation and monitoring, ensuring adherence to infection prevention protocols, and supporting patients through all stages of their cancer journey—from initial diagnosis to end-of-life care. The role offers an engaging environment where your expertise in oncology and telemetry will be essential, with opportunities to engage in specialized procedures like chemo administration and utilize electronic charting through EPIC. The schedule is flexible with self-scheduling options and floating to other med surg oncology units based on staffing needs, offering a true chance to refine your skills in a dynamic setting.
