Job Description:

Join a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital as a MedSurg/Telemetry RN on a 13-week contract. You'll be caring for a diverse patient population recovering from surgeries such as hip, knee, shoulder replacements, cardiac procedures, and spinal surgeries. Your role will involve managing complex conditions, including diabetes and hypertension, with a focus on post-op monitoring, wound care, and cardiac telemetry. The unit operates with a busy, team-oriented culture, and you'll have the opportunity to hone your skills in a fast-paced environment while utilizing advanced equipment and EMR systems like EPIC. Expect to work 12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating schedule, providing skilled nursing care for adult patients with a variety of co-morbidities, under the supervision of experienced support staff.
