Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Alexandria, LA, working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. This role offers an engaging opportunity to provide both routine and complex nursing care within a setting that occasionally requires floating to different units. You’ll be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and educating patients and their families. The position emphasizes independence with a focus on managing a patient load that typically involves a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, occasionally 6:1.
