Job Description:

Join a hospital-based Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit in Olathe, Kansas, for a 13-week travel contract as a Registered Nurse. This role involves providing patient care in a unit where most patients require assistance with basic mobility and daily activities, offering a more physically engaged experience without high acuity. You will be working 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three shifts per week, performing duties that include monitoring telemetry rhythms, administering Heparin drips, TPN, and PCA, and supporting patients with general surgeries, gynecology, urology, and orthopedic conditions. The assignment requires hands-on skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to adapt quickly to a busy hospital environment, making this a rewarding opportunity for experienced nurses seeking a balanced yet impactful role.
