Job Description:

Join this engaging travel opportunity as a Labor & Delivery RN, where you'll be working with a dedicated team in a 34-bed unit equipped with 15 labor rooms, antepartum, OB ED, and OR facilities. Your role will involve managing high-acuity cases such as hypertension, preterm labor, and postpartum hemorrhage while performing cervical checks, reading fetal monitoring strips, and assisting with vaginal deliveries and C-sections. Expect to deliver up to 300 babies each month, with a focus on full recovery support for both mother and baby. The shift is a 10-hour night schedule, offering a unique chance to experience the calm and quiet of overnight hours in a high-volume setting. This position requires previous high-risk OB experience, proficiency with fetal monitoring, and certification in BLS, NRP, and FHM. The assignment includes collaborating with a skilled team of staff, including support personnel and specialists, with an emphasis on efficient patient management and smooth unit operations.
