Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Labor & Delivery and Postpartum unit where you'll be essential in managing high-risk deliveries, assisting with multiple births, and responding to diverse obstetric emergencies. This assignment offers the chance to work with a variety of obstetric cases, including uninsured patients and those with substance withdrawal issues. You'll be circulating in the operating room during C-sections, helping deliver babies, and supporting new mothers in a setting that keeps you engaged and on your toes. Plus, with the occasional need to float between L&D, postpartum, and even NICU tasks, it’s a versatile experience that will sharpen your skills and broaden your scope.

Prepare for an environment where teamwork is key, and your experience in obstetric nursing ensures smooth operations during both day and night shifts. You’ll collaborate with on-call neonatologists, resource nurses, and support staff, all while providing critical assistance during high-pressure moments. The unit is known for its diverse patient population and challenging cases, making each shift both rewarding and engaging.
