Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you on a Level 1 Trauma Designation hospital in Macon, Georgia, working as a MedSurg/Tele RN in a 35-bed unit. You'll handle a patient load of up to four to six patients, managing acute and chronic conditions such as fractures, head trauma, post-op surgeries, and co-morbidities like diabetes and hypertension. The shift is 12 hours overnight, providing a steady rhythm of care for a diverse patient population, including trauma, post-op, and medical patients, with a focus on wound care, cardiac monitoring, and fluid management. Expect to collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, utilize advanced equipment, and apply your clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and precision. First-time travel nurses are welcome, making this a great chance to gain experience while exploring new avenues in healthcare.
