Job Description:

Join us as a PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in New Orleans. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with occasional weekend on-call responsibilities. You'll be engaging in post-anesthesia care activities, monitoring recovery, and supporting patients as they awaken from anesthesia. The position offers a engaging environment where your quick assessment skills and attention to detail make a real difference in patient recovery. Experience with EPIC EHR systems and a minimum of two years in a PACU setting are required. Certifications such as ACLS and BLS are mandatory, while NIHSS certification is preferred. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience the vibrant culture of New Orleans while applying your specialized skills in a focused recovery setting.
