Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU RN at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for a 13-week travel contract that offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced recovery unit. This role involves managing post-surgical patients across a variety of cases including general, spine, neuro, GI, ENT, cardiac, PV, and orthopedic surgeries. You'll experience a blend of routine recovery care and critical stabilization, often preparing patients for transfer to ICU. Expect to work 10-hour shifts, with a schedule that keeps your workweek at 40 hours, and every fifth weekend on call. This assignment stands out for its diverse caseload, the necessity for quick response times, and the chance to refine your skills in a recovery setting that values efficiency and patient safety.
