Job Description:

Join a bustling Emergency Department as a dedicated healthcare professional, where you'll be at the forefront of trauma care and urgent medical interventions. This 13-week assignment offers an engaging role in a Level 4 trauma center, managing a diverse range of cases including chest pain, abdominal issues, minor trauma, and respiratory distress. Your expertise will shine as you work 8-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment, supporting a team that values critical thinking and specialized skills like conscious sedation and ED management of common diagnoses. The department operates with a mix of triage, intake models, and large patient volumes averaging 80-110 patients daily. You'll collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and ED techs, utilizing advanced equipment including vents, Bi-Paps, and portable imaging tools. This assignment provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a well-equipped setting, showcasing your ability to adapt in a dynamic and critical environment where every shift makes a difference.
