Job Description:

This emergency department contract offers an engaging opportunity for experienced RN professionals to work in a bustling urban hospital setting. The role involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, across a 64-bed unit with specialized areas like trauma, CDU, and psych wards. You'll be expected to float across different patient areas, handle complex cases such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac emergencies, and utilize advanced equipment like Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun devices. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, requiring your expertise and quick decision-making during busy hours in a fast-paced environment. This assignment is unique due to its high acuity cases and the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of patient needs in a vibrant city setting.
