Job Description:

Join a team as a Cardiac Sonographer at a Level II Trauma Center located in Bangor, Maine. In this role, you will perform advanced cardiac imaging procedures, including structural heart scans, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and stress tests. The busy schedule means you’ll see about 60-70 adult patients daily, both inpatient and outpatient, providing clear and detailed ultrasound images to support cardiologists’ diagnoses. The department offers a collaborative environment with multiple sonographers and support from seven cardiologists, all using state-of-the-art Phillips equipment and Cerner EMR. This assignment offers a week of orientation and involves working 10-hour days in a rotation that includes weekends, nights, and holidays. If you're a dedicated sonographer with at least one year of experience and proper certifications, this is an opportunity to hone your skills in a vital facility, with a friendly teal scrub dress code and free parking making your workday smoother.
