Job Description:

Join Carlsbad Medical Center as a travel Med/Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in picturesque Carlsbad, New Mexico. This role offers 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with floating and call responsibilities. You’ll be responsible for general medical-surgical nursing duties on a unit that occasionally cares for non-critical pediatric patients. The patient ratio is approximately 1:6, and EMR documentation will be done in MedHost. Known for comfortable temperatures during this season, the area enjoys sunny days and mild evenings, making it ideal for outdoor adventures after your shift. The job requires at least 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience, BLS certification, and preferences ACLS & PALS.
