Job Description:
Join Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina, for a 13-week travel contract as an RN on the labor and delivery unit. This role involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, with a focus on supporting patients through a variety of childbirth experiences. Shifted to 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., you'll get a chance to experience the unique nighttime atmosphere of this facility’s busy and bustling unit. With a flexible approach to weekend hours and no call requirements, this assignment offers a balanced work schedule in a supportive environment, helping to ensure smooth deliveries and patient comfort while managing a patient caseload that aligns with AWHONN standards. Candidates must have at least two years of labor experience, with preferred LDRP background and intermediate fetal monitoring certification, along with an associate degree in nursing.
