Job Description:

This ICU nursing contract places you in a mixed unit with beds dedicated to MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU, all housed within a single adaptable ICU pod. Your responsibilities involve managing complex ICU patients presenting with surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, or trauma diagnoses, including conditions such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, post-cardiac cath, and multi-system trauma. Experience with ventilator management, IV medications like vasopressors, paralytics, and sedation, as well as familiarity with hemodynamic lines and proning, is essential. The role demands working 12-hour day shifts over a duration of 13 weeks, at an hourly commitment of 48 hours per week. You'll operate within an environment that supports advanced certifications like NIHSS and TNCC, and Epic charting experience is required. This assignment offers the opportunity to handle high-acuity cases in a fast-paced setting, requiring strong critical thinking and teamwork skills. A preference is given to candidates with cardiac experience and familiarity with Impella, IABP, or CRRT, though these are not mandatory.
