Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel contract in a high-acuity medical-surgical and intermediate care unit. This role offers a balanced mix of patient care in a setting where you’ll collaborate closely with experienced nurses, including charge nurses who may take on small assignments themselves. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, providing essential care to patients with diagnoses like pneumonia, Covid, and post-operative recoveries from knees and hips. Your expertise with Cerner, titrating drips such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and pressors, along with excellent documentation skills, will be essential. This assignment is perfect for travel RNs with at least one year of PCU or ICU experience, capable of interpreting telemonitor strips, and comfortable stepping into a charge nurse role when needed. Flexibility and a team-first attitude will help you thrive in this environment where staffing may involve float options and support staff like CNAs.
