Job Description:

Join an outstanding ICU RN team for a contract assignment in Lexington, Virginia, where your expertise will be essential during 12-hour night shifts. This role offers a chance to work in a community hospital setting with lower acuity, focused on critical care units. You’ll be responsible for cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, arterial line management, caring for ventilated patients, and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips—tools of the trade for this challenging and rewarding position. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, with a 13-week commitment, providing a balanced work-life experience. The facility values flexibility, so some floating to other Carilion locations may be required, with mileage reimbursement. Epic charting experience is necessary, and certification in BLS and ACLS is required. This assignment is perfect for experienced travelers ready to dive into a fast-paced ICU environment, making a difference one shift at a time.
