Job Description:

Join a specialized ICU team as an ICU Registered Nurse traveler in a 10-bed unit dedicated to critically ill and postoperative cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, and general surgery patients. Your responsibilities will include invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, arrhythmia detection and intervention, and managing advanced devices such as pacemakers, VADs, and ECMO. This role requires passing an EKG exam on the first try—failure risks cancellation, so thorough preparation is advised. The environment offers an opportunity to care for complex cases, including COVID patients, within a setting that values high standards and team collaboration. The shift is 12 hours night shifts, and you may float across all ICU floors and med-surg units as needed, providing a diverse and engaging experience. Expect to work approximately 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment, with the possibility of caring for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
