Job Description:

Join an experienced team in the inpatient dialysis unit at Bassett Medical Center, a regional healthcare hub serving Central New York. This role is centered on delivering high-quality hemodialysis treatments to adult patients, with a focus on independent management of treatment initiation, monitoring, and termination. The environment requires confident troubleshooting of dialysis machines like Fresenius, effective communication with providers, and the ability to manage vascular accesses and medications. This assignment offers the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team in a 3-bed dialysis unit, supporting higher acuity patients and gaining valuable inpatient experience. The schedule includes 8-hour shifts over four days, with a 13-week commitment, on-call rotations, and weekend responsibilities that keep each day both challenging and rewarding.
