Job Description:

Join our team as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in a busy Level III Trauma Center where you'll be managing high-risk and standard deliveries. This role involves acting as the OR circulator during deliveries and providing care for both mother and baby in a dedicated couplet care setting. You will experience the unique challenge of supporting patients through preterm deliveries as early as 23 weeks, with patient ratios varying from 1:1 during active labor to 3:1 for couples. The facility emphasizes teamwork with shared responsibilities such as phlebotomy, IV management, and limited resource nurse duties, all within a hospital that values collaboration. This contract offers a chance to work with advanced technology like Meditech and Centricity EMRs, Baxter IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems. Keep your skills sharp and your experience enriching in this fast-paced environment, floating occasionally to NICU, Pediatrics, or adult floors for safety sitters when needed. You will be part of a specialized team and have the opportunity to self-schedule on a 6-week cycle, with weekend and holiday shifts included.
