Job Description:

Join our team as a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse at a leading Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis. This contract offers a chance to work in a specialized neuro environment, focusing on patients with ischemic strokes, neuromuscular and seizure disorders, CNS infections, hemorrhagic strokes, neurotrauma, and ICP monitoring. Your role will involve managing vasoactive medications, central and arterial lines, and neuro-specific procedures like EVDs and bolt management. You'll interpret EKGs, manage dysrhythmias, and complete stroke education, contributing directly to critical patient outcomes. The setting combines high-level acute care with the opportunity to apply advanced neuro-specific skills, all while working every other weekend during a 13-week assignment.
