Job Description:

This contract opportunity involves working as a PCU Registered Nurse in a 22-bed unit that serves adult and geriatric patients with diverse surgical backgrounds, including burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial procedures. The role requires providing specialized care during a 12-hour night shift, with a schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other or third weekend along with floating within the organization. You will actively participate in procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy, utilizing EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication systems. Previous charge RN and teaching hospital experience are preferred, alongside BLS and ACLS certifications. This assignment offers the chance to work in a hospital setting with a unique mix of complex cases and procedural work, perfect for nurses looking to deepen their expertise in a fast-paced environment.
