Job Description:

Join our team as a hospital-based healthcare professional working with general medicine and cardiology patients in a busy 25-bed unit (decreasing to 16 after room updates). This role involves managing a variety of clinically complex patients, including those with trachs, chest tubes, NG tubes, PEGs, and blood/medication drips like heparin and insulin. You'll work alongside LPNs and RNs in a supportive environment that emphasizes teamwork while navigating modern technology such as Cerner EMR, Plum ICU medical pumps, and Phillips monitors. Expect to partner with skilled nurses on assessments and admissions, with weekly floating to mixed acuity units based on census. This is an engaging opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced setting, with shifts scheduled for 12-hour nights, and a rotation based on unit needs. The assignment offers a 13-week duration, with a weekly schedule of 36 hours, providing a balanced yet rewarding experience.
