Job Description:

This CVOR RN position offers the chance to work in a large, academic hospital setting specializing in open heart surgeries and cardiovascular procedures. The role involves scrub responsibilities in a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, with work days spanning Monday through Sunday over a 16-week contract. You will circulate in various OR suites, including general, ortho, neuro, and ENT, providing critical support during complex surgeries. Expect to handle high-volume, high-acuity cases with minimal supervision, and be prepared to meet the needs of the unit, including flexibility with schedule adjustments. Previous travel experience and Epic EMR proficiency within the past two years are required, along with at least two years of recent OR RN experience in a cardiovascular setting. The assignment offers diverse case types, opportunities for call duties, and involvement in a fast-paced surgical environment that keeps your skills sharp and your days interesting.
