Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a NICU Registered Nurse in Tucson, Arizona, where you'll experience the rewarding challenge of supporting fragile infants in a busy, high-volume hospital setting. This contract offers the chance to work night shifts, providing vital care to neonates under challenging conditions, often floating to PEDS or PICU units for infants six months or younger. You'll be responsible for managing a 1:3 patient ratio, assisting in assessments, vitals, labs, and caring for overflow Level II NICU patients. TMC orientation is required twice a month, with upcoming sessions on 6/8 and 6/22. This role requires at least 2 years of NICU RN experience and Level III-IV NICU expertise. EPIC, BLS, and NRP certifications are necessary. No first-time travelers or locals within 75 miles are eligible. During your 13-week assignment, you will work 36 hours weekly, primarily during night shifts, contributing to life-saving neonatal care in a hospital renowned for neonatal transport and exceptional service to Southern AZ.
