Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse at this high-acuity and diverse cardiovascular intensive care unit located in Bloomington, Indiana. In this role, you'll be managing post-cardiac surgery patients—including CABG, TAVR, SAVR, MVR, and VATS—as well as cardiovascular and oncology patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions. You'll experience a variety of patient scenarios, from ventilated respiratory management to arterial and central line care, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and handling complex cardiac equipment like intra-aortic balloons and ventricular assist devices. Expect to float within scope as needed and work a schedule of four 12-hour night shifts, totaling 48 hours per week, for a 13-week contract. This assignment is perfect for seasoned ICU nurses comfortable with mixed acuity situations and ready to tackle a fast-paced, challenging environment.
