Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU nursing team as a travel healthcare professional, floating across various intensive care and intermediate care units. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing support in environments like Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, and Surgical Trauma ICU, among others. The assignment involves working 12-hour night shifts, with opportunities to enjoy the quieter hours of the evening while making a meaningful impact. This contract offers a chance to experience different ICU settings within a prominent academic hospital, all while exploring the unique healthcare landscape of Charlottesville. Expect to adapt swiftly to changing needs, review clinical situations, and ensure adherence to hospital policies, including UVAs float protocols. Your expertise with Epic electronic medical records and certifications such as BLS and ACLS will be essential for success.
