Job Description:

This hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join their Medical-Surgical unit for a 13-week contract. In this role, you will rotate through 12-hour night shifts, providing comprehensive care for medically stable patients with conditions such as COPD, CHF, diabetes, and post-surgical recovery. The environment emphasizes teamwork and efficiency, with a patient ratio of approximately 1:5-6. You will manage epidural/PCA, drains, wound care, and general post-op procedures while supporting your team during high-paced night shifts. The assignment offers cross-training opportunities in a sister surgical unit, with a focus on a patient-centered approach and adherence to unit protocols.
