Job Description:

Join a dedicated Labor and Delivery team as a Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift in a vibrant California hospital known for its excellent patient environment. This contract offers a unique opportunity to experience the rhythms of delivery and postpartum care in an acute care setting. You will be responsible for providing specialized nursing support during labor, assisting with postpartum recovery, and ensuring patient comfort through hands-on care and coordination with the hospital team. The assignment includes an orientation period of 36 hours to familiarize you with hospital protocols, and you will work with a staffing ratio of 1:3 for labor and postpartum patients. This role is perfect for nurses with at least two years of relevant experience, holding current ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP certifications, with AWHONN Advanced preferred.
