Job Description:

This travel assignment calls for an experienced NICU nurse ready to take on a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You'll perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks, primarily focusing on neonatal intensive care. The role involves assessing and monitoring the health of fragile newborns, implementing care plans, and providing both medical support and education to families. Expect to float frequently to the NICU, managing high flow CPAP and BiPAP systems, and demonstrating proficiency in stabilization and NRP procedures. The position offers a nuanced blend of direct patient care, consultation, and teamwork, with some shifts requiring you to assist on the Med Surg floor during lows in NICU census. Your expertise in high-level neonatal care will be vital to support this busy unit and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
