Job Description:

Join this 13-week travel assignment as a registered nurse in a 25-bed unit (decreasing to 16 after renovations), providing care for general medicine and cardiology patients. This role involves managing trach care, chest tubes, PIV starts, blood administration, NG tubes, PEG feeds, and drips such as heparin and insulin. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, partnering with LPNs and RNs to deliver quality patient support. The environment offers a variety of equipment, including Cerner EMR, Plum ICU Medical pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Phillips monitors, and specialized unit tools. Experience with trauma or inpatient settings is required, and first-time travelers are welcome if they meet the experience criteria. This position offers the opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive team while experiencing a new city atmosphere.
