Job Description:

Step into a unique nursing opportunity on a 20-bed medical surgical and telemetry unit with a focus on orthopedic, pulmonary, sepsis, GI, endocrine, cardiac, renal, and psychiatric illnesses. This role involves frequent floating across various units, including both general and behavioral health floors, so flexibility and adaptability are key. Travelers will perform assessments, administer medications through drips, and utilize EPIC charting in a fast-paced environment that values safety and teamwork. Expect to care for a diverse patient population, including some with behavioral health conditions that require de-escalation training. This assignment offers a chance to experience a renowned urban hospital setting with a vibrant, engaging team and opportunities to work in different units as needed.

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Shift: Night 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Duration: 13 weeks (additional RTO requests up to two weeks considered)
Weekly Gross: $2,057.26
Hourly Commitment: 36 hours per week
