Job Description:

Join a 13-week contract working in the Emergency Department as a Medical Assistant boarding patients in an adult Level 1 trauma center. You'll be responsible for managing approximately 40 patients daily while waiting for inpatient beds, with a typical staffing ratio of 5:1. This role involves electronically boarding patients via MS TELE board, ensuring accurate documentation and communication. During onboarding, you'll complete practice tests—passing within two attempts is necessary. A MA license, BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, and Epic experience are required. This assignment offers guaranteed hours of 72 biweekly, with 12-hour night shifts. You’ll experience a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and swift coordination are key, all while working in a vibrant urban setting that demands both skill and resilience.
