Job Description:

Join a dedicated telemetry and med-surg team for a 13-week contract in West Burlington, Iowa. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, where you'll quickly become proficient in reading telemetry strips—your "decode the rhythm" challenge. A basic dysrhythmia test-out will be provided in the first week, and passing it is essential to work on the telemetry/med surg unit. You'll deliver skilled assessments and interventions while coordinating closely with other healthcare professionals, offering high-quality care to geriatric, adult, and medical/surgical patients. ACLS certification is required, and experience with EPIC EMR in a similar setting within the past year is necessary. Occasionally, you may float to nearby campuses, and while there is no regular call rotation, on-call periods may arise during low census times, with a quick response expected within an hour.
