Job Description:

Join the Labor & Delivery team in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin, for a 13-week travel healthcare contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers an engaging opportunity to be part of a dedicated OB unit handling labor, delivery, postpartum, and well-baby nursery care. You'll be responsible for managing about 17 births monthly, working alongside experienced staff to monitor maternal and neonatal patients, titrate medications like oxytocin, mag, and insulin, and provide vital support during C-sections performed in the main OR. The setting requires no circulating or recovery duties but demands minimum 1 year OB experience, familiarity with labor and delivery procedures, and comfort managing post-surgical patients. The department supports a small, focused team with no charge nurses but with in-house 24/7 anesthesia and neonatology staff during the day, on-call after hours and weekends. This assignment offers a blend of hands-on clinical work and collaborative teamwork in a facility that encourages floating to MedSurg units when OB is closed, providing variety and flexibility.
