Job Description:

This labor and delivery RN contract places you in a fast-paced, high-acuity obstetrics setting in Seattle, WA. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care during deliveries, supporting newborns, and functioning as a baby nurse during labor to transfer newborns to postpartum care. The role involves managing complex cases, including high-risk pregnancies, and requires proficiency with electronic fetal monitoring, neonatal assessments, and procedures like administering medications such as magnesium sulfate and insulin. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to hone your skills in a dynamic environment while floating between postpartum, antepartum, and occasionally other units. Ideal candidates bring at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on high-risk deliveries, and current certification proof. Note that this role emphasizes circulating and newborn care skills; candidates without these will not be considered.
