Job Description:

Join a busy Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in Rochester, NY, as a registered nurse for a 13-week travel contract. This specialized step-down unit focuses on adult acute care patients requiring cardiac monitoring, airway support, and complex IV therapies. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend, providing critical care for a patient population with continuous pulse oximetry and telemetry. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, hold a valid NY nursing license, and be comfortable interpreting dysrhythmias, managing rapid response teams, and utilizing EPIC charting. This role offers an engaging environment for those ready to handle diverse adult medical-surgical cases that require vigilant, compassionate care with a focus on safety and complex patient needs.
