Job Description:

This 16-week travel contract places you on a busy surgical oncology-focused PCU, where you'll care for adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgeries such as breast, thyroid, melanoma, liver, pancreas, spleen, and colorectal procedures. You'll be working night shifts—12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM—covering a unit that handles complex procedures, oncologic emergencies, and treatments like chemotherapy and blood transfusions. Expect a fast-paced environment with a focus on infection prevention and patient safety, putting your experience and adaptability to the test. The schedule is flexible, with rotating days and nights based on department needs, and self-scheduling is encouraged to help balance your workload with personal preferences. All staff are PCU-trained, and the role is ideal for a nurse with at least two years of experience in a similar setting.
