Job Description:

Join our team for an engaging 13-week contract in Asheville, where you'll work in the dedicated Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit. This role involves managing patients recovering from complex cardiac and vascular surgeries, including open heart procedures, thoracic lung surgeries, and vascular interventions. You'll be responsible for monitoring telemetry, administering medications via advanced pumps, managing epidural and chest tubes, and providing support for overflow medical cardiology patients. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts, giving you plenty of time to explore the vibrant city and its surroundings. Expect a fast-paced environment that rewards teamwork and flexibility, all while honing your skills with state-of-the-art equipment like Cerner EMR, Baxter IV pumps, and CADD epidural pumps.
