Job Description:

Join a specialized neuroscience and high-risk respiratory unit in Dayton, Ohio, where you'll take on a 48-hour contract as a PCU Registered Nurse. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including stroke, seizure, and neuro patients, with targeted ratios of 1:4 to 1:6. You'll operate within a team nursing model, partnering with LPNs and PCTs to deliver comprehensive care, often using heated high flow, bipaps, and vent management. The assignment requires prior SD/PCU experience with a 1:5 ratio, vent familiarity, and passing an online EKG tele competency. As part of your routine, you'll float between units including neuro, respiratory, and ICU, supporting the clinical team in a variety of settings with a focus on quality patient care during night shifts.
