Job Description:

Join a well-respected medical center as an RN in the Critical Care Stepdown unit, where you'll work on the second floor specializing in adult and geriatric patients. This 13-week contract offers an engaging mix of post-vascular, post-CABG, CVA, respiratory failure, and other complex conditions. Your core responsibilities will include administering cardiac drips, managing chest tubes, and providing attentive care for patients recovering from procedures such as cath labs. Shifts are 12 hours overnight, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and every other weekend off. The unit features 31 beds with patient ratios around 1:4 or 1:5 and utilizes Meditech EHR. A minimum of one year of experience, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, is required.
