Job Description:

Join the team at Wesley Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas, for a 13-week travel RN contract working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. This role focuses on Med/Surg rehabilitation, providing the opportunity to engage with a diverse patient population in a 41-bed unit staffed with dedicated nurses. You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer IV medications and antibiotics, assist with rehabilitation care plans, and utilize equipment like patient lifts and glucometers. The ideal candidate has at least one year of recent acute care hospital Med/Surg experience, holds BLS certification, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that values patient education and empathetic communication. Expect to work 36 hours per week, contributing to a collaborative team that cares for patients' recovery journeys.
