Job Description:

Join a dedicated orthopedic unit in Peoria, Illinois, for an engaging 13-week travel RN assignment. This role involves caring for a diverse mix of postoperative orthopedic, trauma, and medical surgical patients in a private-room setting. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing care for patients with fractures, surgeries, and various acute conditions. The position offers guaranteed hours during orientation and a supportive team including charge nurses and house supervisors. Your responsibilities will include managing patient care with a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio, troubleshooting respiratory equipment, and coordinating with telemetry monitors. Experience in postoperative surgical and general med-surg care, along with BLS certification, will help you thrive in this setting.
