Job Description:

This ICU RN position offers a challenging and rewarding experience working in a 20-bed adult Surgical and Medical ICU. The role involves managing critically ill adult patients, including those with cardiac and neurological conditions, such as STEMI, DKA, Stroke, Sepsis, and Traumatic Brain Injury. You’ll be responsible for ventilator management, intubation/extubation assistance, central line placement, IV titrations, vasoactive drip management, and other complex critical care procedures. Nurses should be comfortable working 12-hour night shifts, floating to PCU or MedSurg as needed, and collaborating with a team of charge RNs, CNAs, and support staff. Proper certification and experience are essential, including BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and a passing score on an EKG competency exam. This assignment provides an engaging opportunity to utilize advanced skills in a fast-paced environment where each shift counts.

Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
