Job Description:

Join a seasoned team of Registered Nurses in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a well-equipped facility in Bossier City, LA. This 13-week contract offers a chance to hone your skills in a specialized setting that handles CVA, TIA, and other neurological conditions. You'll perform a variety of advanced bedside procedures, including managing arterial lines, setting up tube feedings via NGT or PEG, and titrating drips such as Levophed, Insulin, and others. Your expertise in NIHSS testing, CVL management, and diabetes care will be vital for patient stability and recovery. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, with a flexible schedule that may include every other weekend work and a mix of 4- or 5-day weeks.
