Job Description:

Join a skilled team in West Virginia for a 13-week contract in a hospital-based skilled care unit. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, where you'll manage a variety of step-down patients with conditions like post-MI with sheath pull, ADHS, postoperative vascular cases, GI bleed, and DKA. Expect to oversee titratable drips including nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene, and utilize BiPAP and CPaP equipment regularly. You'll collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors, read telemetry strips, and support a unit that maintains a ratio of 1:03 on an 18-bed unit. Be prepared to work with tele monitoring on all patients and participate in unit-specific orientation, ensuring a seamless integration into the team. This assignment offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced nurses ready to make a difference.
