Job Description:

Join a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse travel contract in Lafayette, Louisiana, supporting a post-op focused unit handling a wide range of GI and wound-related cases. This role is ideal for an acute care nurse who has strong, hands-on post-op experience working full time on a post-op unit.

You’ll work 12-hour nights (3x12-hour shifts) from 18:45 to 07:15, providing continuity through the post-op night workflow. The assignment may include participation in an “Emergency Team,” which can require staying at the facility until after the event passes or stepping into a relief role, depending on the event details. You will be notified of emergency event specifics, including impacts to pay, as they occur.

This is a post-op GI and wound care specialization within Med/Surg. Experience with post-op procedures and relevant equipment is essential.
